M is formed by four oblique strokes.
P with open loop.

TRANSLATION
Ennia Asteria, daughter of Ennius Asterius, restored in her own name the arca that had belonged to her grandfather Ennius Cerealis.
If anyone should violate it after her death, he shall pay two hundred sesterces to the accounts of the fiscus. Her children, however, shall be exempt.
